Firm reduction is all that can be discerned on the nose today. More interesting are the tension-filled and tautly muscular, if not super-dense, medium weight flavors that culminate in a firmly mineral-driven, moderately austere, linear and impressively persistent finale. As is virtually always the case, this serious effort will need extended cellaring to realize its full potential.  Burghound 92-94
