Notes:

From a parcel in Corgolin that local people say should be Village Cru, on the slope with deep, dense clay, the 2023 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Chagniots has an elegant and understated bouquet with brambly raspberry fruit, light white pepper notes (30% whole bunch) and just a hint of potpourri. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, quite structured for a Bourgogne Rouge to the extent that I would afford this another 12 months in bottle.
