Shipping Carrier All domestic orders are shipped via FedEx. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Weather & Shipping Recommendations The integrity of your wine is our top priority. Due to its temperature-sensitive nature, we strongly advise shipping only during moderate weather periods. Extreme heat or cold during transit can cause irreparable damage. To protect your investment, we are pleased to hold your order free of charge in our temperature-controlled facility until a safe shipping window opens. You may request shipment at any time; however, Vins Rare cannot be held responsible for any damage to the wine caused by extreme temperatures during transit.

Processing & Shipping Schedule In-stock orders are typically processed for shipment within 1-2 business days, weather permitting. To prevent your wine from sitting in a carrier's warehouse over the weekend, we do not ship on Thursdays or Fridays. Orders placed on these days will be dispatched the following Monday (or the next business day, in the case of a holiday). If you require immediate shipment, please contact us or make a note in your order.

Customer-Requested Holds & Storage If you are not ready to receive your wine at the time of purchase, we are happy to hold your items for up to 30 days at no charge. After this 30-day period, a storage fee of $10 per case, per month will apply. Please note: This policy does not apply to orders being held due to unsafe weather conditions. Weather-related holds are always complimentary.

Abandoned Orders: Orders left unclaimed in our facility for more than three (3) years after purchase will be considered abandoned. At that time, Vins Rare will sell the wine and issue a store credit to you for the sale amount, less any accrued storage fees.
