Producer: Domaine Jean Fournier is one of Marsannay's benchmark estates, currently run by Laurent Fournier. The domaine farms organically and is widely regarded as one of the leading advocates for Marsannay's top vineyard sites.
Vineyard: Clos du Roy is one of the most prestigious climats in Marsannay. The vineyard sits on limestone-rich soils with eastern exposure and includes vines reaching up to 70 years of age. It is considered one of the appellation's reference sites and is frequently cited among Marsannay's finest terroirs.
Winemaking: Produced from 100% Pinot Noir, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak with a restrained use of new barrels. Fournier's style emphasizes vineyard expression, freshness, and transparency over extraction or oak influence.
