Article: Antoine Bouvet Champagne

Antoine Bouvet Champagne
I’m delighted to present our latest release from rising Champagne talent Antoine Bouvet. Though we’ve only worked with his wines for a short time, they’ve already earned a devoted following — and it’s easy to see why. Each cuvée shows remarkable clarity, depth, and intention, and this newest bottling continues that upward arc.
Honoring the legacy of his grandfather, Guy Bouvet, Antoine is quietly crafting some of the most exciting grower Champagnes coming out of the Vallée de la Marne. Farming just 2.5 hectares and producing fewer than 5,000 bottles a year, he handles everything by hand with exceptional precision. The results are wines of purity, finesse, and place — often echoing the texture and depth we love in great white Burgundy.

Today’s Bisseuil release is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the 2019 and 2022 harvests, with half the cuvée drawn from reserve wine. That reserve component adds early complexity and beautiful layering, giving the wine a sense of completeness even at release.
If you haven’t yet explored the work of Antoine Bouvet, this is an ideal introduction. Allocations are always modest and they never linger, so I encourage you to secure your bottles while they’re available.
