Notes:
The 2023 Maranges Les Fussières ler Cru, raised with 45% whole bunch, is well defined and focused on the nose, with slightly earthy aromas of red fruit, sous-bois and a touch of tobacco joining the fray. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent fleshy tannins, plenty of sweet red fruit laced with blueberry and a dash of white pepper on the finish. It's quite primal at the moment, with the energy to suggest it will age well in bottle. Neal Martin 89-91
