An attractively fresh and airy nose features smoky notes of mostly Granny Smith apple and citrus along with background hints of crushed fennel and wet stone. There is slightly better volume to the seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that exude evident minerality on the sappy, balanced and firmly structured finale. This is not the densest example of CC you will come across but the length is stunningly good plus, as with all of the upper level wines in the range, it is clearly constructed to age so patience is strongly recommended.
