Mid lemon yellow, with considerable tension, not seeing the clay richness at first, though it comes out more on the palate and at the back, even with some tannins. Which Thierry likes, as they will keep the wine younger for longer. Drink from 2028-2034. Tasted Nov 2024. Jasper Morris 91-93
An admirably discreet application of wood frames slightly riper aromas of poached pear, apple compote and elegant floral nuances. The round, delicious and generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors possess a seductive texture while delivering good if not special depth and persistence on the very dry but not especially austere finale. This is solid but perhaps not at its usual level of excellence. Burghound 89-91
