Notes:
A wine of crystalline tension and precision, the NV (2012) Les Beguines has been exceptional on the two occasions I have had it thus far. Scents of dried pear, almond, mint and sage open up in the bouquet, but it is the wine's textural brilliance that stands out above all else. Salivating and refreshing on the palate, the 2012 is virtually impossible to put down, so captivating is its overall balance. Readers who can find the 2012 before it is gone from the market should not hesitate. This is a triumph from Jérôme Prévost. Dosage is 2 grams/liter. Vinous/Galloni 95
