A more elegant and slightly cooler nose reflects notes of white flower, pear and discreet lemon peel aromas that are trimmed in discreet wood toast. There is fine volume to the delicious flavors that possess an abundance of mouthcoating sap that also serves to buffer the moderately firm acid spine on the youthfully austere, zest-inflected and long finale. This attractively dry and well-balanced effort is a lovely Puligny villages that could be approached young or aged to good effect over the mid-term. Burghound 89-91 Outstanding!
