Here too moderately generous wood is present on the beautifully layered nose of both red and dark pinot fruit, the sauvage and pretty spice and floral wisps. The rich, succulent and sappy medium weight flavors possess impressive power and volume while displaying excellent length on the firm, compact, youthfully austere and balanced finale. This is a classic Les Millandes and this wine is often the best 1er in the Heresztyn range and it appears that it will be again in 2023. Burghound 90-93 Outstanding!
