Ripe and exceptionally fresh aromas of poached plum, violet, wood toast and spice give way to gorgeously textured, sappy and impressively powerful larger-bodied flavors that exhibit simply stunning length on the balanced and only moderately austere finale. This is seriously good though quite firm and in contrast to several of the prior wines, one that's going to need at least a decade of keeping first. Burghound 93-96 Outstanding!
