Notes:
Moderate bricking. This is a beautifully expressive wine with its well-layered aromas of earth, sous-bois and lovely hints of spice, earth and animale. The round, nicely rich and supple flavors possess a caressing, even seductive, mouth feel along with fine depth on the long and refined if ever-so-slightly warm finish. The underlying structure is now largely resolved though there is still a remnant of dusty tannin. In sum, this is a really lovely effort that is drinking perfectly now though I would note that I sense a building fragility and thus I would be inclined to drink up over the next few years. Tasted several times over the years with quite consistent notes. Burghound 93
