This possesses the spiciest nose in the range with its aromas of anise, exotic tea, violet and red and blue pinot fruit. The delicious, refined and tension-filled flavors are not especially dense but they do possess a highly attractive texture, all wrapped in a balanced finish that is also blessed with admirably fine-grained tannins.  Burghound 89-91
