A phenolic whiff is subtle though perceptible on the attractively floral-suffused nose of softly spiced green apple and white peach aromas. The rich, delicious and caressing medium-bodied flavors coat the palate with dry extract which also buffers the moderately firm citrus-tinged acidity shaping the balanced and lingering finale. This could use better depth but a few years of keeping should be enough. Burghound 90-93
Yellower colour, riper fruit on the clay, generous yet still with a superb balance. Quite an electric thread running through the middle, a light bitterness at the back, plenty of character to the fruit and very long. Drink from 2027-2034. Tasted Nov 2023. Jasper Morris 92-94
