Marsannay, Santenay, Pernand, Monthelie and a touch of real Bourgogne. These are grape contracts but all harvested by the Henri Boillot team. Summer pudding fruits, a bundle of energy. This is the one wine which is not vinified in barrels – vinification intégrale – but instead it is aged in all the spare barrels from the other crus after they have been vinified in that manner. A solid deep purple colour. A fine balanced red fruit on the palate with good acidity, altogether a zesty feeling to the fruit. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted: December 2023  Jasper Morris 88-90
