A gentle touch of wood sets off the pure, ripe and enticingly spicy nose of red and dark berries, earth along with subtle floral and green tea influences from the whole clusters. There is good concentration to the supple, round and delicious middleweight flavors where the supporting structure is firm but integrated, all wrapped in a dusty, lightly austere, beautifully well-balanced and impressively long finish.
