Moderately toasty aromas of overtly floral and markedly spicy red and dark currant are nuanced by a hint of forest floor character. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the finer, if slightly less concentrated, flavors that also exude a bracing minerality on the focused, balanced and sneaky long finish that also flashes a touch of austerity.
