Notes:

The 2023 Aloxe-Corton La Coutiere ler Cru, which sees 30% new oak, has an earthy, austere nose that has a tough time following Magnien's seductive Gevrey cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh with crisp tannins and a touch of orange rind interlacing the dark berry fruit on the finish.
