Once again, the hallmark elegance of a fine Chambolle is displayed with its spicy essence of red pinot fruit and discreet floral nuances. There is slightly better volume to the succulent, nicely rich and attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a bitter pit fruit-suffused finish. This could use better depth but it's already exceptionally pretty, just not deep, at least not yet.  Burghound 90-92
