Notes:
80 year old vines grown on a clay soil which gets the afternoon sun, 13.5% alcohol, 100% whole bunch and 25% new wood. Another dense crimson purple colour. The bouquet has more of a fruit compote style. You can see the stems but they are more hidden in the fruit. There is a very substantial mouthful of plummy dark raspberry, good oak integration, plenty of spice and excellent persistence. Tasted: December 2021
