The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Champeaux 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet of shimmering red berry fruit, marmalade and light white pepper aromas, conveying very good energy. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and well-judged acidity, cohesive and quite fleshy on the finish. This is a well-crafted Champeaux with good persistence and I suspect it will offer up to two decades of drinking pleasure. 92+ Vinous Media/Neal Martin
