A slightly more elegant nose is also quite floral with lovely layering on the just sliced apple, essence of pear, hazelnut and discreet but perceptible wood. The medium weight flavors are not quite as concentrated as those of the Enseignères, but they are finer, all wrapped in a slightly warm finish that isn't quite as focused. This seemed somewhat awkward and out of sorts, but I suspect that it will harmonize if given a chance, particularly since the track record of this wine is impeccable. Burghound 92 Outstanding!
