Notes:
There has just enough reduction to shave the top notes from the nose where hints of earth and dark berries can still be discerned. Otherwise there is terrific punch, detail and minerality to the tautly muscular, vibrant and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that are supported by relatively refined tannins on the ever-so-mildly austere and wonderfully persistent finale. As is often the case with this wine, it's restrained and compact at present but everything is in place such that it should age beautifully. Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!
