This is more deeply pitched still with its layered combination of plum, dark currant, spice and freshly turned earth. The rich, full-bodied, ripe and quite serious medium weight flavors exhibit an abundance of minerality along with excellent persistence on the firm and mildly austere but not rustic finale. This should amply reward extended keeping and it is going to need at least 7 to 8 years. Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!
