A brooding and much more deeply pitched nose exhibits notes of black cherry, raspberry, violet and plum along with plenty of earth and game nuances. There is excellent size, weight, power and punch to the middle weight plus flavors that culminate in a driving, muscular, highly complex and gorgeously long finish. This presently moderately austere effort is a classic CAM that will need at least 6 to 8 years of bottle age in a cool cellar. Burghound 91-94
