A decidedly ripe and still primary nose features mostly spicy aromas of black wild cherry, raspberry and a whiff of earth. There is is very good power and density to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the lengthy if noticeably warm finale. This seems to be evolving at two speeds as the nose is still primary while the palate impression seems largely ready. As such, this is a wine that could be enjoyed now or held for another decade.
