A deft touch of wood sets off the seductively enveloping aromas of cassis and black cherry extract that can also be found on the opulent, concentrated, powerful and sleekly muscled flavors that convey a real sense of volume without compromising the refined character. While not deeper or more complex, this is ever-so-slightly longer than the Les Cailles and should also be capable of a very long aging curve. Equally impressive if different.
