Notably ripe yet very fresh aromas of red and blue pinot fruit complement the rich, sweet, full and nicely elegant and refined middle weight flavors that offer a certain generosity on the lightly structured backend. Solid if not truly distinguished in the context of the vintage but I very much like the overall sense of balance. In a word, lovely. Burghound
