The nose indicates immediately how concentrated this is with a densely fruited nose of earth, subtle spice, violet and plum notes that are followed by gorgeously complex, sweet and borderline massive flavors underpinned by very prominent firm yet fine tannins plus a finish that goes on seemingly forever. Wow, this has simply stunning length yet for all of the size, weight and concentration, it remains impeccably well balanced.
