As one might reasonably expect, this is much earthier than any of the prior wines with exuberant, nicely complex and quite supple flavors yet despite how round and forward they are, they don't lack for precision or intensity. I like this as there is more finesse and flavor purity than one usually finds in the typical Epenots and this impression is aided by the sophisticated tannins underpinning the dusty, relatively powerful finish. A very fine effort. Burghound 89-92 Outstanding
