While it's a bit of a cliché, this is in fact like its name as the wine is charming, pleasant, sappy, expressive and impressive in its way but I much prefer the tension, precision and minerality of the Clos St. Jacques. Supple, delicious and approachable now though it should repay 6 to 10 years of maturation. Burghound 89-91
