Good full medium red with just a trace of amber. Alluring, vibrant aromas and flavors of red and darker berries and salty minerals. A silky, savory, very pure midweight with subtle intensity and harmonious framing acidity providing excellent definition and a delightful light touch. This beautifully balanced, minerally wine finishes with lovely rising length and nicely resolved yet still-firm tannins. If the 2002 was disappointing, this one is a clear success in the context of its vintage. (13.2% alcohol; 3.45 pH; 3.5 g/l acidity; 42 h/h) Tanzer/Vinous Media 93 Points -

Extremely ripe with mocha, earth and roasted coffee aromas and sappy, robust, tannic yet elegant and classy flavors coupled with stupendous length and intensity. Ironically for a vigorous, forceful Corton, this manages to retain a refined, harmonious personality. Splendid quality here and this should age for at least two decades. Burghound 91-94
