Incredibly dense, earthy, black pinot fruit is followed by spicy, full-bodied, round, pure flavors that are supported by a solid backbone of ripe tannins that is completely buffered by the old vine sap though there is a touch of dryness on the finish. Quite powerful for villages level Gevrey and this is almost painfully intense. Burghound 89 Outstanding!
