This is fresher on the nose despite being riper with delicious, complex and ultra pure middle weight flavors of obvious breed and a certain lovely reserve. Exceptionally powerful for Griotte with stunning length and a textured, dusty finish but despite the power, this is a remarkably precise wine blessed with great underlying material. My only reservation is the absence of better than average complexity; if the wine develops it, then my score will most certainly be conservative because this is already one very impressive effort.
