The 2000 Barolo Cannubi is so fresh and primary it would be virtually impossible to peg in a blind tasting as a 2000. Layers of jammy dark fruit flow from this intense, rich Barolo. The house style speaks more loudly than vineyard character in 2000, but the wine makes up for that with its superb length and superb harmony. Galloni 96
