This presents a completely different personality than the Charmes and the Mazis with austere, reserved black fruit notes, wonderfully complex flavors and staggering length. This is not necessarily better than the Mazis so much as it's bigger and more powerful. An amazing wine in the context of the vintage.  Burghound 91-94
