The expressive nose has now gone almost completely secondary with notes of spice, sous bois and mature burg aromas nuanced by hints of leather and tea that introduce rich, pretty, thoroughly delicious, velvety and round flavors that are underpinned by ripe and relatively soft tannins on the long, intense finish. This is a fine effort that is drinking notably better than its 750 ml counterpart. Burghound 92Recently tasted from Magnum (10/2011) Unbelievable purity, fresh, very full with great balance and persistence. This is still a very young wine that has years ahead of it. Could be one of the best 88's produced - Vins Rare - 95+ Killer!
