Notes:

A more elegant, and more floral-suffused, nose reflects notes of red berry fruit compote that is certainly ripe but stops short of being jammy. There is a more refined texture to the middleweight flavors thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins shaping the balanced and lingering finale. As pretty as this is, it does need to develop better depth so at least a few years of conservation should be a positive. Burghound 90

A lovely fresh purple, with a stunning bouquet all about the fruit first and only the 100 whole bunch vinification later. Griotte cherries and crushed strawberries, proper intensity yet with a sense of weightlessness, and a lovely little fresh pinch of acidity to finish. Drink from 2027-2034. Tasted Nov 2023.
