From a one-hectare parcel of 50-year-old vines within the lieu-dit Chapelot, Moreau-Naudet's Monte de Tonnerre is consistently their most mineral driven wine. The soils are sandy with a rocky topsoil and rich in Kimmeridgian limestone.
