The velvety and palate coating medium-bodied flavors possess both good power and an almost pungent minerality on the youthfully austere, compact and quite serious finish that is built for the long haul. The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières shows both the warmth of the vintage and the rockiness of this terroir. Offering up aromas of rich dark fruits and plum preserve, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with a sun-kissed core of fruit that's underpinned by lively acids and chalky tannin.  William Kelley 90-92
