Notes:

Moderate reduction presently overshadows the underlying fruit though there is very good verve to the strikingly textured medium weight flavors that exude evident minerality on the linear, agreeably dry and youthfully austere finale. This lovely effort will need at least a few years of forbearance. Burghound 90-92

The 2021 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons has turned out especially well, mingling aromas of crisp stone fruit, apple blossoms and almonds with subtle hints of youthful reduction in an inviting mélange. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's a pure, vibrant wine built around racy acids.  William Kelley 93
