Notes:
Here the expressive nose is at once much more floral but also more elegant with its airy aromas of cool citrus, quinine, tidal pool and oyster shell hints. There is a lovely sense of restraint to the palate etching middle weight flavors that are shaped by citrus-tinged acidity on the balanced, bone-dry and lingering finale. This classy effort is very MdT in style. Burghound 90-93 Outstanding!
Offering up aromas of orange oil, ripe lemon, crisp stone fruit, beeswax and smoke, Servin's 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with racy acids, terrific depth at the core and a long, saline finish. It's the finest rendition of this cuvée since 2017. William Kelley 93
