Notes:

This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction that largely dominates the fruit. Otherwise, there is excellent volume to the mouth coating, racy and delineated bigger-bodied flavors that possess a beguiling texture thanks to the firm, dry and youthfully austere finish. This is a bigger and more powerful wine compared to the Vaulorent, but it doesn't have the same sophisticated mouthfeel. A qualitative choice.  Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!

Aromas of pear, crisp yellow apple, baking spices, fresh bread and beeswax preface the 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu, a medium to full-bodied, satiny, fleshy wine built around racy acids and concluding with a saline finish. Simultaneously generous and precise, it combines Chablisien classicism with modern charm.  William Kelley 92
