A much cooler though still ripe nose reflects pure, airy and elegant notes of oyster shell, quinine, pear and tidal pool. The rich, generous and refined medium-bodied flavors are shaped by lemon-tinged acidity on the agreeably dry youthfully austere finale. The 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent is very good indeed, mingling notions of citrus oil, crisp green apple, orange blossom and struck flint. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, it's bright and precise, with fine depth at the core and a long, saline finish.  William Kelley 93+
