Notes:

The 2019 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens is also promising, delivering aromas of ripe berry fruit, plums, peonies and spices, framed by toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, rich and enveloping, it's round and fleshy, with powdery tannins lurking below the surface.  William Kelley 91-93+
