A discreet but perceptible dose of wood can be found on the cool floral, pear confit, tidal pool and iodine-scented nose. The refined, intense and wonderfully sleek medium weight flavors flash a bracing salinity on the classy, balanced and wonderfully persistent finale. This chiseled effort is a relatively powerful MdT and like several wines in the range, possesses a genuinely lovely texture. Recommended.  Burghound 93
