Notes:

The 2018 Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Potion Écarlate Premier Cru is made from 80% Pinot Noir from Cumières, macerated for 40 hours and 20% of Chardonnay from Avize a mix that results in a wine of deeply pink color an alluring raspberry fragrance. Clearly, the ripeness of 2018 lent itself to such a juicy, vivid and fruit-driven style which is nonetheless backed by creaminess. The lively foam accentuates the lovely phenolic crunch that destines this for the table and almost obscures the rye crumb autolysis in the background.
