Notes:

The 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard Rouge is showing beautifully, unfurling in the glass with aromas of cassis, wild berries, bergamot and rose petals. On the plate, it's medium to full-bodied, precise and mineral, with excellent concentration and a finer-boned profile than Lamy's heartier reds from Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet.  William Kelley 91-93
