The 2017 Pouilly-Fuiss Les Ronchevats has a touch more horsepower on the nose compared to the Vignes Blanches, albeit with the same delineation and complexity. It conveys the sense of place beautifully, whisking you down to the Mconnais hills. The palate is beautifully balanced, with a fine bead of acidity and a precise, quite attacking finish with superb salinity. This is another excellent 2017 from the top drawer, courtesy of Saumaize-Michelin.

The 2017 Pouilly-Fuiss Les Ronchevats derives from Triassic clay soils and unwinds in the glass with aromas of ripe apples, lemon, pears and warm bread. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a charming, textural profile that's elegant and inviting.
